Broken Mobile
I was walking a few days ago and slipped. I landed on my hand, which would have been injured except for the fact that it was holding my mobile phone. So, my trusty phone sacrificed itself for me and took the beating. As a result, I am fine and my hand is fine, but the phone ceased to be. I managed to get my old mobile working, but it is giving me signs that it is very elderly and on its last legs, so it appears I will have to buy a new one.
Can someone suggest a place in Malta where I can get a cheap mobile? It can be old. In fact, I probably would prefer an older model, as I really do not want all of these complicated bells, whistles, and cameras. Just a simple phone that makes phone calls and sends text messages and fits in my pocket will do.
Thanks for any suggestions!
I’m going to be cheeky and advertise that I have a phone which I want to sell! It’s the Nokia 6610. It works (obviously!), the face plate is a bit used but it can be changed. I don’t have the radio earphone though but those too you can probably get as an accessory from a phone shop. I’m asking Lm30 for it.
I hope you don’t think me very rude for this! And don’t hesitate to say No if you’re not interested
Does any one on Malta sell reconditioned mobile phones, these are normaly very good value for the price.
G- I took the liberty of tweaking with your name, because people were getting us confused
I will pass on your offer, but if anyone is interested, feel free to contact Little Miss G on her blog.
Steve- that is what I am trying to find. The mobile companies only sell the latest models which are quite pricy, and I really have no need for all the latest gadgets.
I could find you one in the UK for a reasonable price, but I will not be back in Malta until the end of March.
How about ebay, I can see phones on ebay from £15.00 sterling which is about 10 Liri.
Thanks, if I can’t find anything I might take you up on that. I will try the ebay and such sites.
hehe no problem
